The star of one of the most successful indie films of all time, and one of the most talked about horror movies in ages, MICAH SLOAT, has been added to DAYS OF THE DEAD II (Atlanta) for his first ever horror convention appearance.

It is with great pleasure that DAYS OF THE DEAD announces that MICAH SLOAT, star of the hugely successful Paranormal Activty and Paranormal Activty 2, will be making his first ever horror convention appearance at DAYS OF THE DEAD II, happening March 9th-11th in Peachtree City, GA.

A musician and aspiring film student, Micah was still taking acting classes when he noticed a casting advertisement for Paranormal Activity in the spring of 2006.The ad asked for unknown actors with the ability to improvise who could work during the night without knowing what the next scene would entail.

Released widely in 2009, Paranormal Activity proved to be an unexpected hit at the box office, grossing more than $100 million as of November 2009 and becoming one of the most successful independent films of all time, as well as one of the most talked about horror films of the last decade. He returned to the Paranormal Activity franchise in the film's prequel, Paranormal Activity 2, which went on to also break box office records and prove to be a bigger hit than its predecessor.

Micah Sloat joins an all star cast of horror talent at DAYS OF THE DEAD: Atlanta which already includes Roddy Piper, Sid Haig, Barbara Crampton, Heather Langenkamp, Gary Busey, Amelia Kinkade, and Howard Sherman.
